The first synagogue of its kind to create a religious school and to publish its own prayer book, CSZ is currently home to over 300 member families, with a thriving religious school - Beit Sefer Phyllis Mintzer - now serving over 100 children and teens. While affiliated with the Union of Reform Judaism, the congregation welcomes family and friends, both Jewish and non-Jewish, from a wide range of religious, ethnic, class, and cultural backgrounds to worship with egalitarian, feminist, and gay-positive Jewish liturgy, along, with beautiful music and unique style.
