Part Two: In the evening

6:00 Onwards – Hamentaschen and other treats will be available upstairs in the chapel and downstairs in the oneg room.  But please don’t bring food into the sanctuary.

6:00 Ma’ariv
Join us for the unique Purim Ma’ariv service in the sanctuary: not quite a weekday, not quite Shabbat or a Festival, but full of celebration and worship.

6:30 Costume Parade
Dress for fun – come as your favorite Purim character, or as whatever hits your funny bone.  Some costumes and accessories will be available at Sha’ar Zahav for those who want a little creative help, or just need the right finishing touches.

7:00  Megillah Reading
Once again this year, Cantor Bernstein has assembled a crackerjack cast of leyners to chant the Megillah (scroll) of Esther in both Hebrew and English – with maybe a little Yiddish thrown in, too.  Learn and re-learn the story, listen to great voices, find inspiration for the holiday.

Come one, come all, come for all or come for whatever you like!
