Creation with Marcia Falk

Marcia Falk-renowned poet, painter, Judaic Scholar - will present her new book, Inner East: Illuminated Poems and Blessings, which pairs her poetic writing with her original paintings to create a meditative “dialogue.” Falk is widely known in the Jewish world for The Book of Blessings and The Days Between, her re-creations of prayer from a nonpatriarchal perspective. CSZ's neighborly Shabbat morning service is more like a minyan, a small community gathering. We sing, pray, read and discuss Torah together. And ask questions and share ideas in a spiritual and progressive celebration. No prior experience is necessary. Services begin at 10:00am and end at 11:30am.
